A Week in the Woods by Andrew Clements is a fiction book about a boy named Mark who is going in the woods. Mark is a boy who is really brave and sometimes lazy. He likes to explore. Most of the time Mark is sad because his parents like to travel so he can’t see them a lot. The science teacher is mad because Mark is really lazy at him. When the field trip, called the “Week in the Woods” came, he went in the woods and ran away from the science teacher. Mark likes the outdoors so does Mr. Maxwell; he is a 5th grade science teacher. I like this book because it has lots of action. I like this book for the outdoor experiences and because it has lots of detail. What will happen to Mark? Will he get out of the woods?
