Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days by Jeff Kinney

Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a fantastic, outrageous series written by Jeff Kinney. This is the forth book in the series. I would suggest reading the other ones before reading this one. I read the series backwards and it was confusing. The first book in the series is Diary of a Wimpy Kid. The second book of the series is Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules. Finally the third book of the series is Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw. This book is an outrageously funny book that I would recommend to anyone. I think its genre is Comedy. It's life from a middle schooler around our age, so I think we can relate to it. This book is an easy quick read with 214 pages with pictures. Greg Heffley is an middle schooler who has some weird moments in his life and I think it is funny. In the summer he likes to play his video games in the dark with the shades closed. Also he likes to stay up all night and play video games. He wakes up when his dad comes back from work too. I think Greg has a personality like me. I would recommend this book to a anyone because he is in middle school too. He has a break in his summer and the story is about his summer stories. Obviously as you can tell by the title of the book Greg gets a dog. It isn't what he expects a dog would be. I would give this book a 5/5 stars rating and everyone should read this book.
