Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney

Review by Hunter

Diary of a Wimpy Kid is about Greg’s 6th grade middle school daily activities and happenings of his life that he writes about in his “diary” (journal he calls it because he believes only girls have diaries) that his mother bought him. He talks about his swim team, Roderick (his brother), Rowley (best friend), being on safety patrol at school, the “Cheese-Touch” and so many other kid stuff. Gregory Heffly is the main character he is in the 6th grade, middle school. His best friend is Rowley who isn’t very popular and is definitely not too bright. His brother is Roderick who is very, very, very, annoying and he loves heavy metal music. I would recommend this book to any kid because we all can relate to either all or some of Greg’s daily activities. I felt when reading this book that I was in the moment with him.
