Clarice Bean Spells Trouble by Lauren Child- Review by Julia D.

The book I read is called Clarice Bean Spells Trouble by Lauren Child. Clarice Bean, the main character, is a crazy young girl. She is very imaginative and has a wild vocabulary. She even made up a word called exception ordinarily. Clarice Bean gets herself into trouble a lot. She is also a huge fan of the detective, Ruby Redford and her gang. She has a Ruby Redford Notebook, a Ruby Redford clip and she watches every episode of the Ruby Redford show that she can, even if she has already seen it. This book takes place in a little town that seems to be quiet until a surprise occurs! Throughout this book, Clarice Bean is getting into trouble in many ways during school and at home. She is very clever, imaginative and troublesome!

I loved this book because it was one of those books that you can't stop reading and you cant put down. I also loved it because Clarice Bean was so funny and clever that it made the story pop and that made it interesting. I would recommend it to someone who loves to read books with great characters. This book definitely has characters with interesting personalities in it. Also, I would recommend this book to someone who loves to read books that grab your attention. This book is great and if you love this type of story, I am sure you would, or will, love it too!
