Summer School: What Genius Thought That Up? by Hank Zipzer: Review by Charlie

I read the book Hank Zipzer "Summer School What Genius Thought That Up"? This book is very interesting novel that really kept me wanting to read more. It is about a boy named Hank who just finishes school and has summer break. Hank is really excited to go to the junior explorers camp when he finds he has to go to summer school. Hank says "Summer School What Genius Thought That Up"? The next day Hank finds himself going to summer school and while there he sees all the junior explorers and wishes he could go and be with them. But then a pretty good thing happened, Hank finds out who his summer school teacher will be and it is Mr. Rock, the nicest and best teacher in the whole school. A few days go by in summer school and Hank finds out two things, one he has to do a report on Albert Einstein and two, the junior explorers are having a party and there will be a talent show. Hank has a report to do though and his dad makes a deal with Hank. He has to get an A for him to be able to participate in the talent show. Hank is very nervous and hopes Mr. Rock will give him a good grade. In the end of the story Hank ends up getting an A and performing in the talent show. I thought this book was very good and interesting. I could not close this book nor put it down. I recommend reading this book as you will enjoy it very much. By Charlie R
