Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney

Diary of a Wimpy Kid is about a 6th grade boy’s (named Greg) life. His best friend is Rowley who lives down the street from him. On the way to Rowley’s house lives Fregley. He is the most annoying and weird kid who always stays in his front yard asking weird questions to the people who pass by him. Another annoying person in Greg’s life is Rodrick, his older brother. Rodrick is always trying to hurt Greg, or get him into trouble. Greg participates in many activities such as swimming, being a safety, and most importantly, he participates in the cheese touch at school. The point of the game is someone touches the rotten, moldy cheese, and they try to touch someone else with the same hand, and then the next person would pass it on etc. The only way to not have the cheese touch if someone else touches you with the cheese touch, was if you were crossing your fingers before they touched you, that would reject the cheese touch from you and the person who tried to give it to you would still have it. When you read Diary of a Wimpy Kid you get sucked into the book and can’t stop reading. This is why I choose this as one of my most favorite books ever!
I also think it is very funny.
