Joey Pigza Swallowed the Key is about a young boy named Joey Pigza. It's basically is about his life. Joey has two problems, one he has ADHD and he doesn’t often take his pills. Two when he was in kindergarten his dad ran off and his mother went out to try and find him but now after many years she has returned and wants to take charge of his life. On the other hand his Grandmother doesn’t like that because she has been his guardian for so long and doesn’t think that her taking charge would be good for him. Finally she loses her cool and leaves to be with Joey's dad. When Joey finds out that she left his mom told him that she melted and went down a sewage drain. Now Joeys life is flipped upside down he has his mom back, no more grandma, and his mom’s different rules. He also has new rules at school. The new rules at school he enjoys. Would you like to know why? It is because if he acts up even once then he is sent down to the Special Ed room. The thing he likes about the Special Ed room is that there are some parents there and not all teachers. Joey Pigza lives a normal life after all that. I would recommend this book to people who like documentaries/comedies.
