Million-Dollar Throw By Mike Lupica

Reviewed by Andrew S.

Million-Dollar Throw by Mike Lupica is a fiction sports book. The book is about a thirteen-year-old star quarterback named Nate Brodie from Valley, Massachusetts. Nate wins a chance to make a throw worth $1,000,000 at the Thanksgiving Day Patriots game. Only soon after entering the contest, Nate completely loses his ability to throw. To make things worse, his best friend, Abby, has retinis pigmentosa and is going blind right in front of his eyes. Will Nate be able to throw good again? Will Abby go blind? To find the answers to those questions and others read the book.

One of the characters is Nate Brodie. He is the main character in the book. He is the star quarterback of the Valley Patriots, the best eighth grade football team in the state.  His family is almost bankrupt, so he needs the million dollars from the throw. He is also stressed over his best friend going blind. I liked the book a lot. It is a novel which is my favorite type. I would recommend it to all sports book fans. I also really recommend it to people who have read other Mike Lupica books. In conclusion, Million-Dollar Throw by Mike Lupica is a great sports novel that I would highly recommend to all sports book fans and Mike Lupica book fans.
