Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien: Review by Alex M.

Lord of the rings: Return of the king by J.R.R Tolkien
This is the 3rd book of the series and also the last book. Some of you probably have seen the movie, of coarse like in all movies that were made after great books they leave out a lot of things. For example it leaves a big part out at the end of the story called The Scouring of the Shire. This is when the they come back from Minas Tirith which as some of you might now it is the great fortress of Gondor. They come back and Urak-hi or orks and men had taken over the Shire and there leader is a wizard revered to as Sharku. Now Merry, Pippin, Sam, and Frodo have to make a rebellion and take down the mighty Sharku. The thing that are special about these book is there is a pre-prequel and prequel and it was in one of the books that was soppuse to be a sequal to The Hobbit. The prequel is as most of you know is The Hobbit and that book is for 6-8 year old, and the pre-prequel is the Simarillion. This book is the story of the creating of Middle Earth (the setting of the books) and the events that took place to make the ring.

  1. Ive seen the movie and read part of the book you refrenced to the Hobbit. I do believe that they should not leave quite as many parts out.But it still was a great movie!
